What is our GRE Exam Preparation Course?

ETS (Educational Testing Service) created and administers the Graduate Record Examination (GRE), which is required for entrance to graduate programmes and graduate business programmes (MBA) around the world. Candidates are evaluated on three areas: verbal reasoning, numeric reasoning, and analytical writing skills. The test lasts 3 hours and 30 minutes, with a 10-minute break after the second segment. To do well on the GRE, students can enrol in GRE Training programmes in Chennai. GRE Coaching in Chennai can undoubtedly assist one in passing the exam with flying colours.

Who Accepts GRE?

Thousands of graduate institutions, including business and law, as well as departments and divisions within schools, accept the GRE. The GRE General Test and GRE Subject Test are the two versions of the exam. The GRE General Test is given in both paper and computer format; however, the GRE Subject Test is exclusively given in paper format. At Empire's, we assist you in becoming familiar with both ways and allow you the freedom to select what is most convenient for you.

What are the GRE Exam patterns and test frequency?

Individually, verbal and quantitative reasoning are graded on a scale of 130 to 170, resulting in a total score of 340. Although the Analytical Writing portion is graded on a scale of 0 to 6, it has no bearing on the total score. Computer-delivered tests can only be taken five times each year, whilst paper-delivered tests are only given on particular dates throughout the year. The computer-based test is 3 hours and 45 minutes long, while the paper-based test is 3 hours and 30 minutes long.

What skills are tested in GRE?

Quantitative reasoning measures your basic high school arithmetic knowledge, including reasoning skills, while verbal reasoning assesses your reading comprehension, critical reasoning, and word usage. Analytical writing is a type of writing that is used to assess your grammar, vocabulary, writing skills, and sentence structure.

What do examiners look for in the GRE Exam?

Examiners pay special attention to the following:

  • Are you able to follow detailed instructions?
  • Can you demonstrate that you comprehended the problem?
  • Are you able to structure your essay in the required and recognized format?
  • Do you have any relevant instances to back up your claim?
  • How well do you write essays (argument and issue)?
